Here are the most frequently asked questions.

How can I tell if a job advertisement is still vacant?
All positions advertised on the Uniper Job Portal are still vacant. We update this platform regularly, which is why you can rely on it being up-to.date.
Which elements are necessary for an application?
You can apply directly via the Uniper Job Portal. Your application will be assigned to the preferred position and checked by the appropriate recruiter. The protection of your data is of course optimally guaranteed.
How can I find out about the status of my application?
As soon as you log into your applicant profile, you can view the status at any time.
English or German? In which language should I write my application?
It is entirely up to you and whether you write the application in English or German has no influence on your application’s success. Choose the language in which you feel most comfortable and can authentically introduce yourself. An exception is a job advertisement in English, here we would ask you to write your application in English.
Can I apply for several positions at the same time?
You are welcome to apply for more than one position at Uniper. Nevertheless, we recommend that you limit yourself to jobs that really suit your skills, experience and areas of interest. We will look closely at your CV and then decide in which area we can imagine you best.
Is there a trainee program?
Yes, on the careers page you will find trainee experiences and details on how the application process works.
What is the duration of an internship at Uniper?
In general, an internship with us is designed for a period of 3 to 6 months. Exceptions are possible of course, for example, in the case of compulsory internships.
How many months before my desired start date should I apply for an internship?
We recommend an application lead time of approximately 3 to 6 months. At this point, we can estimate which positions are available at the desired start time.
What are the requirements for working as a student at Uniper?
In order to be a working student at Uniper, it is necessary for you to be a full-time student enrolled throughout the duration of the job. For students from third states to the EU, a visa and/or approval from the local immigration office is sometimes required to take part in an internship or work as a student.

However, good grades are helpful when applying. An existing enrolment is not necessary during the working period, but we would be pleased if you already have some practical experience in the desired field.
Can I apply again if I have already applied and not been selected?
We often get a large number of applications and only the details make the difference. You are welcome to get feedback from us.
I'm a career changer. Do I have a chance in the application process?
It is very dependent on the department in question as to whether career changers have a chance in the application process. We generally recommend that you apply if you are interested. We will definitely check your documents across all departments, even if there is no common thread in your career.

We are happy to help you personally.
